Client Testimonials
It has taken years to develop a trusting dynamic with a mental health counseling program, as my situation was very fragile for quite some time. I had years of severe anxiety attacks, emotional irregularity, behavioral concerns, paranoid and delusional episodes based on my past childhood abuse. I honestly thought seeing therapy from a professional wouldn't manifest, and that my behavioral issues would never transform. In the year 2016. I was referred by a primary psychiatric doctor to seek professional therapy with a LSW. After consideration, I volunteers to seek help from Dr. Sibelia Chaiyahat. At the time, it wasn't clear if therapy with her would benefit or transform it into a better outcome for my mental health. But at that time I had such high anxiety and trust issues, it was unclear if I would do well, but soon after the first few visits, I felt Dr. Chaiyahat listened to my needs, and I surprisingly resonate with her. The most impressive session was when she asked what I would like to work on versus what we need to work on. She explained her expertise in certain therapeutic sessions that can help decrease my anxiety and find coping strategies to ease my depression. The most successful strategy that I benefited from was EMDR, mindfulness, and occupational therapy for dealing with behavioral communication, anxiety with cognitive distortion. Her expertise, years of experience, and patience with my mental health care, I consider myself a mental health success story, as I have come a long way. Now I am medically compliant and still attending person therapy. My anxiety is manageable, my depression is stable, and my self-esteem has transformed to the point where I can maintain a job and attend college without having any negative symptoms. My experience with Dr. Sibelia Chaiyahat has been exceptionally outstanding. Together, we have worked hard for the betterment of my mental health with cognitive development skills and a treatment goal that has been successful. I strongly believe therapy takes time, and with consistency and medication compliance, there is much hope for a brighter and happier mental health stabilization.
